Capability

Take a moment and think of a moment in your life when you were struggling. Some chapter where you didn't know how you were going to make it through. Take a moment to reflect on it: how it felt, how you moved through it, how you handled it, what you learned, and how it brought you to where you are today.

Somehow or another, you made it.

When we're in the thick of life's demands, our mistaken thinking will often tell us we won't make it. It'll happily predict the worst-case scenario. In reality, you've always been able to handle it. You are wildly capable. This little reflection is a way to properly use the intellect. Let it go back through the chronicles of your life and offer up example after example of how you've been able to handle whatever came your way.

We don't use the intellect to predict the future or lead us into action. We leave that up to our fine level of feeling, our intuition. Use your intellect to give you proof of how unbelievably capable you are.
